This is a great opportunity for plumbers to use their skills and knowledge to help rebuild homes in Kentucky after the multiple devastating tornadoes that occurred in recent months.
Habitat for Humanity/Kentucky is building a total of 15 new homes for families in Bowling Green and Dawson Springs, KY. Ten homes will be built in July and 5 more in the Fall.
Detailed plans for the homes are completed for attached 2 level structures built with suspended joists with crawl space access.
The request is for:
- 4-6 plumbers starting July 31st.
- Plumbers will be working under the direct supervision of the local Master plumber familiar with the local codes.
- Plumbers need to submit a copy of your license /certification to Habitat-Kentucky. Familiarity with PEX and PVC piping is preferred.
Lodging is available at Western Kentucky University until Aug 18th, 2022.
Food and transportation costs are not included.
