Volunteer plumbers from UA Local 32 and several industry supporters came together to support the construction of family food-growing plots serving the community including many immigrants and refugees, who are now able to enjoy growing some of their own food, while building community and resilience. This project was initiated and managed by the New Roots program of the International Rescue Committee.
